Akoma is a festival where people come to experience the beauty and richness of African culture through the art of dance and music. Derived from the Akan native language in Ghana, the word ‘Akoma” symbolises heart, patience, and tolerance – all values that are deeply ingrained in African culture.

At Akoma, dancers are able to connect with these values on a deeper level, immersing themselves in the rhythms and movements of Africa.
