Pacha Kilala Sunda was born in Cacuaco, Luanda, Angola, to a Congolese father and an Angolan mother. Though he grew up familiar with kizomba culture, his true passion for it was sparked during the 2020 lockdown in Angola. Upon returning to South Africa in 2021, Pacha discovered the global reach of kizomba and devoted himself fully to mastering the dance. What began as a source of joy during a challenging time soon evolved into a calling — today, Pacha is not only a dedicated dancer but also a respected instructor. He joined the Dance Spirit family in 2024 and has been sharing the spirit and rhythm of kizomba and Semba with others as one of the instructors.
